Einstein’s Cradle and Grades opened in the year 2013. It was borne out of growing dissatisfaction with the quality of available preschool education. The proprietor contacted a few friends shared her concerns and vision with them did all other due diligence by law and then opened and proceeded with the stage set for Einstein’s Cradle with a vision to revolutionize preschool education for children ages 0-3. The push from parents for us to expand and include nursery classes. Then they soon requested a primary section and today we have fully grounded early years classes and fruitfully budding Primary Classes.
Einstein’s Cradle & Grades seeks an Administrative Officer to join this vibrant, happy, and successful school in FCT, Abuja.
Job Description:
The Administrator Officer will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions. We seek to hire an Administrative Officer for one of our companies located in Abuja. The ideal candidate will liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries. With a minimum of years of experience in administrative roles, you will be responsible for coordinating new hire onboarding activities, including orientation sessions, documentation, and training schedules. This role will be onsite at our Abuja location.
Administrative Officer Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Implement performance appraisal processes, ensuring timely completion and feedback for employees.
- Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities to enhance employee development.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, attendance, leave balances, and performance evaluations.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Develop and maintain a filing system.
- Provide general support to visitors.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries.
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management.
- Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data.
Administrative Officer Requirements:
- Proven experience as an administrative officer, administrator, or similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
