Einstein’s Cradle and Grades opened in the year 2013. It was borne out of growing dissatisfaction with the quality of available preschool education. The proprietor contacted a few friends shared her concerns and vision with them did all other due diligence by law and then opened and proceeded with the stage set for Einstein’s Cradle with a vision to revolutionize preschool education for children ages 0-3. The push from parents for us to expand and include nursery classes. Then they soon requested a primary section and today we have fully grounded early years classes and fruitfully budding Primary Classes.
Einstein’s Cradle & Grades is looking for Nursery School Class Teachers to join this vibrant, happy, and successful school in FCT, Abuja.
Job Description
- Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to children.
- Demonstrate activities to children.
- Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
- Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within the class
- Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
- Arrange indoor and outdoor spaces to facilitate creative play, motor-skill activities, and safety.
- Organize and label materials, and display students’ work in a manner appropriate for their ages and perceptual skills.
- Confer with other staff members to plan and schedule lessons promoting learning, following approved curricula
- meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
- providing feedback to parents and carers on a pupil’s progress at parents’ evenings and other meetings
- coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
- working with others to plan and coordinate work
- keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
- organizing and taking part in school events, outings, and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
- liaising with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly in smaller schools.
Requirements:
- B.Ed or B.Sc qualification
- TRCN Certification would be an added advantage
- Jolly phonics certification
- Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Should have a personal computer for E-learning purposes.
